Hey hey! I’m so happy to be writing a favorites post again, you have no idea, haha. I typically don’t wear that much (new) makeup during Summer, so I didn’t see the point in writing June, July and August favorites. But now that we’re in Autumn, I’m back to using new products and to sharing my favorites of the month with you guys! As always, I’ve included some swatches of the products at the end. Enjoy!
L’Oréal False Lash Telescopic mascara (REVIEW): If you have read my previous post where I reviewed this mascara, you already know that I love it! It really gets every single lash and it lengthens and separates them beautifully. Mine’s nearly finished, so I’ll have to buy a new one soon!
Catrice Blush Box in “030 Golden Coral”: I’ve never really been that crazy about blushes, but I’m a sucker for peachy tones and this one has won me over! At first sight it looks like it would be a matte blush, but it contains very subtle specks of gold that leave the most beautiful sheen on the cheeks. I think I will be checking the other shades out as well, since this was only € 3.59!
Kiko Milano Smart Fusion lipstick in “432 Hazelnut”: This is the only lipstick I have worn during the whole month of September. It has a creamy finish, so it’s not transfer/kiss-proof, but it sits so comfortably on the lips that I don’t mind reapplying it throughout the day. But what I love the most about this lipstick is the color. This true warm brown just screams Autumn to me!
Wet ‘n Wild Photo Focus concealer in “Light/medium beige”: I bought this concealer a good while ago, but I never got around to trying it out until a few weeks ago. It reminds me a bit of the Maybelline Fit Me concealer, but there are some differences here and there (let me know if you would like to see a compare test of the two). The coverage is great, it’s easy to blend and it doesn’t crease which is also a bonus!
Revolution Pro Supreme Hold finishing spray: And finally, I have a new favorite setting spray to share with you all! Ever since I started using this one, I have noticed that my makeup looks a lot better at the end of the day and it hasn’t broken me out yet, which I also appreciate a lot (acne prone skin over here!). There is also a matte version of this setting spray, so I think I will be trying that one next since I’m all about keeping my oily face as matte as possible for as long as possible!
Those were my September favorites! I’m really pleased with all of these products and I will continue to use them throughout the month of October (which is my birthday month by the way, woop woop!).
What were your September favorites? Let me know in the comments!
